  • Email Address: Collected when you subscribe through Lemon Squeezy. Used solely for authentication and subscription management.
  • Payment Information: Processed and stored exclusively by Lemon Squeezy. We never see or store your credit card details.
  • Task Data: Your tasks, categories, notes, and settings are stored securely in the cloud via Supabase with encrypted storage. A local copy is also kept in your browser for offline access.

3. What We Do NOT Collect

  • We do NOT track your browsing activity
  • We do NOT use advertising cookies or third-party trackers
  • We do NOT sell your data to third parties
  • We do NOT collect analytics about your task content

4. How We Use Your Information

  • Email: To verify your subscription status and communicate important service updates.
  • Task Data: To sync your tasks securely across your devices. Your data is encrypted and only accessible when you log in with your email.
  • Subscription Data: To manage your access to the application.

5. Data Storage & Security

  • Task data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
  • Data is associated with your email and only accessible when authenticated.
  • A local copy is kept in your browser for offline access and faster loading.
  • Authentication is handled through secure API calls with HTTPS encryption.
  • Payment processing is handled by Lemon Squeezy, a PCI-compliant payment processor.
  • Cloud infrastructure is hosted on enterprise-grade servers with automatic backups.

6. Cross-Device Sync

TheFocusTask syncs your data securely across all your devices. When you log in with the same email on another device, your tasks, categories, notes, and settings are automatically loaded from the cloud. Changes are saved within 3 seconds of being made. Your data remains encrypted during transit and at rest.

7. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Lemon Squeezy: Payment processing and subscription management.
  • Supabase: Secure cloud database for data storage and sync.
  • Vercel: Application hosting and CDN delivery.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you
  • Request deletion of your personal data and cloud-stored tasks
  • Cancel your subscription at any time through the Lemon Squeezy portal
  • Export your task data at any time using the built-in export feature
  • Clear all local data by clearing your browser storage

9. Children's Privacy

TheFocusTask is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
